Embrace The Change

Embrace The Change started an open and educated conversation about managing hormones and symptoms through perimenopause and menopause. Guest speaker Chiza Westcarr touched on what occurs within your body, and mind and how to mitigate them through food, exercise and supplementation, followed by Kylie Faulks touching on the pelvic floor, vaginal changes, bladder and bowel changes, bone health and more!

Our beautiful Dr Racquel spoke in the panel about maintaining skin health by incorporating injectables with skin treatments in the clinic.

We asked some of our guests what their biggest takeaways were:

“Chiza is such an inspirational woman! I loved learning more about the importance of gut health and eating the rainbow during menopause. It was so refreshing to listen to her speak about our vaginal health, it really helped me understand the changes that women experience! 🙏”

“For me, a great takeaway from Saturday was how we can control our menopause symptoms through gut health and lifestyle factors. How little changes in our lifestyle can help prolong the symptoms and another thing was also HRT (I wasn’t too sure about this but it kinda gave me another insight to it.)🙂”

“ It was absolutely fabulous, why don’t we talk about this stuff more??? I was so excited to break down that taboo that people feel about menopause because women are going to go through it, it is going to happen. Like pregnancy for example we talk so openly about it because it;s so common to go through but we don’t talk about menopause! So glad to be apart of starting this conversation!”

“From Kylie, my biggest takeaway was learning about the pelvic floor and how many times we should be going to the toilet daily. For Chiza, it was very eye-opening to see how easy it can be to combat all of the symptoms with little changes and compliance. I think we get confused by all of the symptoms and recommendations but it comes down to having a healthy gut and the influence the gut has on your health.”
