About the treatment.
The Lamprobe or Clinical Skin Clear machine is used to remove unwanted benign minor skin irregularities. This machine is used to treat and remove skin tags, old age warts (seborrheic keratoses), simple fibromas, cholesterol deposits (xanthelasma), hemangiomas, cherry angiomas, sebaceous hyperplasia, milia, clogged pores, broken blood capillaries (telangiectasia). Here at the clinic we do not offer skin cancer checks so please ensure it has been checked prior to the appointment.
How it works.
The machine uses a high frequency that is attracted to fluid (the skin contains a lot of water) causing heat to be created, resulting in the destruction of the lesion. Treatments are quick, simple, and very effective. Treatment of larger lesions often requires several treatments and many lesions are removed instantly like large skin tags without any bleeding.
The skin will be white immediately after the treatment however over the following days small scabs will form and the skin will heal up underneath resulting in new skin appearing anytime from days to weeks after.
